My mission is to Re-Invent Real Estate. Have you ever asked yourself:
8 years ago when my Husband Dave and I bought our first home, I asked myself these same questions. The Real Estate industry is one big misunderstood paradox for most people. It’s a Universal language; everyone speaks it – at a dinner party, at the grocery store, at the Farmer’s Market – and yet there are still so many questions surrounding it. “Why is a house priced so low? So high? How is the market doing? How does the forecast look for the coming years?” In other words, people desperately want to know…How can they best protect themselves and their investment, when the market is such an ever-changing environment?
8 years ago I realized that the process needed work. We walked into an Open House and bought it. We proverbially ‘flicked through the yellow pages’ and invested in a property in about the same amount of time it would have taken us to order a pizza. We listed it again 6 months later because it didn’t suit our needs. Consumers of Real Estate don’t know what questions to ask, and it’s only by going through the buying and selling process that they learn what those questions are. The problem is, we’re not talking about the price of a pizza, and you can’t just send it back if you get the order wrong.
4 years and 2 houses later, I left my career with the NB Government to pursue a career in Real Estate. My career to that point had been pretty darn awesome, spanning 10 years of people and relationship management in both Private and Public sectors. But I knew there was a gap in the Real Estate industry, and I set out to build a better, more lubricated wheel.
The recognition came quickly, reaching Diamond level and Top 10 individual agents in the Atlantics with Royal LePage 2 years later and again in 2015. With success comes failures, and with both comes an amazing amount of learning. As both a consumer and a Real Estate professional, I’ve learned how to fill the gap. My approach to Real Estate is different. No fluff, no filler, just great advice and great results, and probably the most amazing support team of happy clients a girl could ask for.
4 years ago, life as I knew it changed. This career has been bigger and better than I ever imagined it could be. I’m a doer. It’s what sets me apart. It’s one thing to talk about Real Estate around the dinner table. Or to write about it on my website or Blog. It’s another thing to actually do it, Full Time. Selling Real Estate is a form of art. It takes good clear thought, strategy, planning and instinct. My mission is to Re-Invent Real Estate, and I’ve been “doing it” for hundreds of clients since 2012.

Karen came to us highly reccommended as "the best realtor" in Fredericton. We engaged her to find us a house and were not disappointed. Upon hearing our wish list, she concentrated only on those houses which met our criteria. Karen always got back to us promptly by either email or phone if we had any questions or wanted to see a particular house. She facilitated the closing smoothly and e ciently which took an otherwise stressful situation out of our hands. In short, we only have positive comments about her dedication to her job and her ability to ful ll it. - Dieuwke McDonough
Karen Syroid is the BEST! We had just a few weeks to move to Fredericton from out of province. Karen was referred to us. She organized my 3-day house hunting trip like a pro, and when I flew in, she relentlessly spent hours showing me houses in and around the Fredericton area, until I found the right one for us. Then, I was able to fly back across Canada and finalize the purchase from there, with Karen‘s help with many of the important details. She is a really nice person to be around but on top of that, as a realtor, she asks the right questions and truly listens to figure out what you are looking for in a house. She really knows her stuff! Her Web tools are amazingly useful. This is the tenth house we purchase and I can testify that this time was a real pleasure. Thank you so much, Karen! - Luc et Monique
We were buyers from out of town who came in with two days to find a house for our daughter. After reviewing our criteria for a house, Karen was able to line up a number of listings which we were able to see our first afternoon. That evening she sent us some more which we narrowed down and visited the next day. By that evening she helped us construct an offer on what we all agreed was the preferred choice. We left the following day, leaving negotiations in her hands, and by that afternoon our daughter was the owner of a new home at a better value than we had anticipated. We thank God for leading us to the best realtor in Fredericton – one with excellent listening, organization and negotiating skills, and most of all, one who works hard to achieve the best for her clients. - Ben, Mary and Michelle
Karen Syroid is a fantastic real estate agent. She is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is very quick to respond to any questions or concerns and worked tirelessly to ensure that we found the house we were hoping to find. She was very effective is facilitating the sale of our former home. I honestly don’t think that we would have sold our house as quickly had we not had Karen Syroid as our agent. I recommend Karen to anyone looking to sell their home. - Jonathan
Karen was a pleasure to work with and a true professional with a wealth of valuable experience to offer. Despite being in the challenging position of representing both the Seller and myself (the buyer). Her advice was always sound, unbiased and in our interests. I was continually impressed by her responsiveness, helpful insights and impressive follow-through on questions I had throughout the process. Especially with dealing predominately through emails and over the phone, as I work away from home. Karen made the purchase of my first home easy and painless. I would open-endedly recommend her to anyone buying or selling a home. Thanks Karen! - Jordan
